Mens Designer Fashion for the Younger Generation 2011

Mens Designer Fashion for the Younger Generation 2011
Mens designer fashion this winter has exciting styles to suit everyone, from classy to casual and something for all ages. Menswear has never offered so much choice, with so many different styles and trends out there. If you are more of a country casual guy there is a great selection of knitwear like chunky cable sweaters and cardigans in natural colours like gray, olive, brown and beige or show off your body in a tight long sleeved brushed cotton v-neck neutral shades of black, white or navy. Also making a revival this season, are Aran and Fair Isle patterned knitwear but with a vibrant modern twist added to the traditional shapes and colours plus any item trimmed or lined in shearling.
Yet again, military style is a big influence this season whether you go top to toe with combat boots, trousers and coat embellished with shoulder lapels and brass buttons or take one of these items and mix it in with other trends. Military trends mix well with some of the more casual mens designer fashion trends too particularly if you stick to key colours like brown and beige, khaki, olive, navy and gray combined with neutral shades of cream white or black. There have been changes to mens designer suits with the skinny boy styles of late being replaced by a more chic style that can be worn by men of all ages. The new cut is, one that accents a sense of the masculine through three key silhouette elements - broad shoulders, a slim waist and slim trousers.
The sports coat or jacket is also back and great to team up with chinos or jeans for a more casual style; with double or single breasted to choose from. From classic pinstripes to traditional tweeds, to luxurious satin, soft cashmere and opulent velvet ; there is an abundance of fabrics out there this season in mens designer fashion to choose from. While velvet may not be to every man´s tastes, with fashion designers including it on many of the season´s catwalks, there are alternative ways to include it in your outfit. However, you do not have to wear this showy fabric from top to toe and can simply implement a touch of it into your apparel whether it is as a trim on your suit lapels or one item velvet straight leg pants, velvet waist coat or velvet suit jacket worn with an item in a contrasting material for a less ostentatious approach.
